Be Hopeful
8 05 2008Digital Niqabi has tagged me! Actually, I think this is probably one of the best memes I’ve ever seen and I thank whoever created it, and DN for tagging me and allowing me an opportunity to help spread the positivity, inshaAllah.

I hope…
… that I will become a better Muslim and a better person, better mom, better daughter, better friend
… to spend my life with someone who pushes me to be a better person while accepting me where I am, and that I can do the same for them
… to do something that benefits humanity
… to be a part of something that creates a real change for the better
… to make Hajj while I’m young enough & healthy enough to participate fully, and again when I’m old enough & mature enough to be properly in awe of the experience
… to write something that matters and inspires someone, even if I never know it did
… to learn to enjoy the most simple of pleasures so much that I lose my taste for anything more extravagant or unnecessary
… to see my Shaykh in person and listen to his sohbet & instruction direct from his lips
… to have grandchildren and great-grandchildren that are part of a proud Muslim American tradition and continue to pass it through the generations
… I live long enough to understand my purpose and live up to it

lol mashaAllah I was surprised I figured 10 people that weren’t already tagged hehe. It’s going to be tense later on when people start tagging and everyone already been tagged. I wonder who’ll be the first to have less then 10.
I do believe you are well on your way to accomplishing 3, 4, and 6…from your writings on here. MashaAllah! I pray that Allah invites you for Hajj soon, and us all…and may Allah make all your dreams and hopes come true, ameen! I too loved the positivity of this tag…simply beautiful. Thanks for doing it so fast, Aaminah! I really enjoyed reading it, you gave me some more things to add to my mental list.
